Accommodation

The charter yacht sleeps up to 8 crew members within two double cabins and the main saloon cabin, with shared heads. A minimum of 4 crew members is required for the Adventure to take place, and subject to the covid-19 limit of 6 aboard, the 3 cabins will be allocated by way of a two-person share basis to minimize covid-19 bubble sizes per cabin.

Adventure Fee

This event is highly subsided by CraigSailing CIC, where the fee covers the yacht charter, limited cruising fuel and overnight mooring costs in a selection of accessible marinas. All we ask in addition to the fee is for each member of the crew to bring victuals to make one main dish for up to 6 people. Of course, don’t forget to bring any nibbles (please see covid-19 guidelines). A list of meal ideas will be circulated between the crew a few weeks before departure.

RSVP

If you are not able at present to book but wish to be added to the RSVP shortlist, please click the RSVP button below. However, please note cabin berth allocations will be made on a 1st booked basis.

Payments

To secure your berth onboard, a deposit fee “donation” of £100.00 is due at the time of booking, the deposit fee is non-refundable, followed by a further £100.00 berthing fee “donation” due 8 weeks before departure. All fees due totalling £200.00 must be paid in full before departure. Non-payment of the berthing fee by the due date may result in the loss of your berth aboard.

Cancellations, any refund of the berthing fee will be at the discretion of CraigSailing CIC and will normally only be given on the condition cancellation notice is received in writing 8 weeks before departure and/or a replacement crew member takes your berth, either way, only a 50% refund of the berthing fee will be considered. Any amounts retained by CraigSailing CIC will go towards providing subsidised Sailing Adventures for those less fortunate. In the event enhanced covid-19 restrictions prevent the Adventure from going ahead as planned. The charter company has agreed for any fee paid to be credited for use at a later date once covid-19 restrictions have been lifted.

By making the deposit fee “donation” payment, you have accepted CraigSailing CIC trading/payment terms, and you will abide by the Adventure safety requirements.
