We are pleased to announce the purchase of our first ocean-capable yatch B52, funded by our founder Craig Palmer.
B52 is a Sydney 41′ built to meet the challenges of ocean cruising and racing; to date, she has been exclusively raced about the Gold Coast of Eastern Australia with notable success in several Sydney to Hobart races, winning her division.
We found B52 on the Sunshine Coast in sad condition, having not been sailed for nearly two years. However, beneath the poor cosmetic condition lies a solidly constructed and competitive IRC-rated vessel waiting for love and care.
We are now working hard to raise funds for the refit and to add several upgrades, including an autopilot, water maker, and solar panels. If all goes well, we plan to sail B52 to Auckland for Christmas and then onto Europe in 2026.
